    Winner of Illustrations Series

A month ago, I asked for my subscribers to send me their ideas and suggestions for my new series of 5 x 7 inches illustrations. Well, after many suggestions, I can announce the winner is Rozanne Du Preez, for her suitably apt title of: Japanese Pearls. Du Preez will be awarded an illustration of her choice as a prize. Congratulations! Thank you to all the suggestions, and keep posted for more opportunities to win prints and originals of Evelyn Curry Art! Much obliged, Evelyn

No, my trek lead me deep into the reserves of San Antonio Zoo, Texas, USA; with my camera in hand. Yes, this was studied from a photograph. I am rathe

    People Being Portraits: Zulu Man

I started the series, People Being about a year and a half ago, in watercolor on paper. And, while, I’m still continuing with this series; I have branched out developing an oil painting series. The subjects are still people I have photographed along my travels, doing what people do: be in their space, their home. The variances, however, stop there. I am not repainting any person, or people I have already painted in watercolor. As well, I am turning the oil painting series int
