After studying a few Craftsy classes on portrait drawing, I purchased a white pencil and some gray tone sketch paper. And I am loving the tonal range created: the grey lending a equilibrium from darkest shadows with a charcoal pencil, to the lightest of highlights with a white pencil. This is the start to a whole series of portraits to come! My lovely son at 7 months old.
