I didn't plan to be painting so many little watercolors of scenes from around Japan, but here we are a year and a half later! And I must confess how much I have enjoyed painting Chureito Pagoda with blossoms, or Geisha walking around Kyoto, or Mount Fuji. I paint different versions of the same landmark, or icon. I change the season: Autumn leaves, Sakura blossoms. I change the time of day. And the joy for painting these scenes just keep on increasing. I paint 4 x 6 or 5 x 7 and some 8 x 10.
