I have been wanting to photograph the Cypress trees for a while. I took these a little past their best; most of the red/orange leaves had already fallen. But the browns and watery reflections were still sight worthy. I'll definitely be back in the Springtime and next Autumn. I know the best way to view this habitat is by kayak, canoe or paddleboard. I shall have to try photographing in a kayak and not getting my camera gear wet! I love the depth created between foreground and background. Plus, you may notice some of the trees seem a little topsy-turvy.

This montage was also created using photos taken at Merritts Mill Pond, and photos taken at Morrisons Spring Park: a location I will go back to in the summer. The water at Morrisons Spring was incredibly turquoise clear: a great Summertime swimming location. The highlight in this piece are all the blurred layers built up in the water reflections. Some of what is up is down.

One humid morning after a lot of rain, I looked out of my window to see flocks and flocks of little egrets in the fields behind my house. I raced outside with my camera. I didn't get too close to any of them; however, I took many photos of many egrets searching for food in the long grass. This montage collects the atmosphere and energy of the moment. Contant movement, and always changing direction and distance.
