    Nepal 3.

Day Three Gandaki villages, up in the mountains We were picked up by some friends and went to their home/orphanage/church. A beautiful white and blue accented building with gorgeous views of the city. The children were welcoming. What an experience it was to worship with Nepali believers. They sang in Nepali and we in English (when I could remember the words. Turns out I don’t know my hymns so well by memory) After a few photos and sharing lollipops they make your tongue turn

    Nepal 1.

Day One Haneda to Guangzhou 3 passengers with 5 overweight, stuffed to capacity suitcases; suitcases literally bursting at the seams. But, no extra weight or baggage fees. Our Father is good in His care! The fastest slurping of Ramen you’ve ever seen before it’s time to board. The flight was a third empty, so not only did we forgo extra luggage weight fees, but we got to sit next to each other (we had all booked our flights separately so this was an unexpected plus!) New Zealand Travels

Christmas in New Zealand 2017. It was a bit of a turbulent beginning to our trip and not due to cloud storms while flying. Someone assumed we were flying out of Narita airport. It wasn’t until the lady at the check in counter pointed out our tickets stated Haneda. Oh my word, we raced over to the bus stop, and an hour later made in to Haneda airport. We were the last passengers to check in. Think Home Alone craziness. We were escorted through the staff and cabin crew securit

    Custom Holiday Photo Montage Work

Greetings, Welcome to some new Photo Montage Custom Work I've started. I take your travel photos, your holiday snaps, and make a beautiful, colorful collage with them. When it's displayed in your home, what a conversation starter it will be! A little bit of a Geography quiz: guessing the outline of the country, using the photos as clues! What I love about this idea is that it is subtle. I haven't kept to the outline of the country all the way round. That would be too obvious

    Craft Fair Review

Another great Craft Fair this past Saturday. Due to space constraints, I only displayed my Photo Montage prints and a few paintings. A few things surprised me, upon reflection. Customers who have bought from you previously, really do come find you, and purchase from you again! I love the conversations I get to have with customers and admirers of my work. The biggest surprise is they get it! My message; what I’m trying to say, is conveyed! Very cool! Everyone has been very enc

    What DO you do?!

A question artists can find difficult to answer. Here’s the long version: I suppose I don’t call anywhere home. I may have spent half of my life living in in England, but it isn't home. I may be citizen to the US and the UK, but I am not exclusively either, nor neither. So, everywhere is a new place, be it passing through over a day or so, or residing in for a decade. Each new country brings newness and freshness. A list of all the things to do and see in the time allocated t

    People Being Portraits: Zulu Man

I started the series, People Being about a year and a half ago, in watercolor on paper. And, while, I’m still continuing with this series; I have branched out developing an oil painting series. The subjects are still people I have photographed along my travels, doing what people do: be in their space, their home. The variances, however, stop there. I am not repainting any person, or people I have already painted in watercolor. As well, I am turning the oil painting series int
