Ginkgo Leaves

Photographs taken at Showa Kinen Park, Tokyo, Japan, then edited, collaged and layered together creating a new photographic image using Photoshop. I use anywhere from 10 to 40 photographs per montage. 

Clear blue skies and bright, golden Ginkgo leaves make the Autumn season spectacularly special. Enjoy the delicate flutter of the leaves, like butterfly wings; knowing that soon they shall fall to make way for Winter. 

This is a process I have been using for years that I've developed to create the Digital Montages that I do. It's digital cutting, pasting, erasing away; sometimes duplicating and enlarging, or reducing and fading away. It's a timely process, and I adjust the image as I deem fit for my creative vision. None of it is done with AI, or automatic photo stitching.
