This captivating watercolor features three young ladies adorned in beautiful kimonos, checking their selfies on a red bridge over a koi fish pond garden. This photo was taken at the famous red, pagoda temple of Takahatasankongoji, in Hino, Japan. The girls took several photos of each other and together before pausing to look them over on their phones. I photographed the moment they all pulled out their phones simultaneously. It encapsulates the essence of traditional Japanese culture and elegance.
