Manhole Covers: Chicago
Digital Montage Photography
$50.00
What if you could hold a little piece of Chicago in your hands?
For those who have walked its streets, admired its architecture, or felt the energy of the city, perhaps one of these little circles will bring back a particular moment. A favorite landmark. A memorable visit. A place that feels like yours.
And for those who simply love to discover the world through art, there is the pleasure of looking again and again, finding another detail, another reflection, another small burst of color hiding within the whole.
A whole city full of color.
For the collector who loves Chicago, who collects memories of places traveled, or who believes the things we surround ourselves with should tell a story, these pieces offers a way to keep a piece of the city close.
Because sometimes, the biggest memories come in the smallest circles.
After photographing the cover, I turn it into a black silhouette using Photoshop. I place colorful images behind the silhouette. They speak of a hidden world of beauty: when so much care and design is taken for something we walk over, perpetually gets dirty, it must be elevated, like a stained-glass window.
Digital Montage Photography is a process where I layer and edit photographs together using Photoshop to create a wonderfully new collaged image celebrating different places. These are all photos I have taken, not stock photography.
Perfectly designed to complement modern home decor, this piece adds a touch of elegance and sophistication to any room.
The luster photo paper is a premium photographic stock with a satin finish, favored by professional photographers. Its subtle, pearl-like texture adds depth, while supporting deep color saturation.
