The Four Seasons of Japan

Digital Montage Photography

$45.00

Inspired by Alphonse Mucha's Four Seasons, with a Japanese twist. The figures are photographs that have been silhouetted, using Photoshop to highlight the pattern in the kimono or Yukata. The background of the image has then been created using anywhere from 10 to 20 different photographs collaged, and layers and montaged together, also using Photoshop. The effect is that of a stained glass window.

This is a process I have been using for years that I've developed to create the Digital Montages that I do. It's digital cutting, pasting, erasing away; sometimes duplicating and enlarging, or reducing and fading away. It's a timely process, and I adjust the image as I deem fit for my creative vision. None of it is done with AI, or automatic photo stitching.

Ultra Premium Luster Archival Photo Paper has a mixture of a gloss and matte finish, giving you a highly saturated look and maximum ink coverage. Because of its saturation and resistance to fingerprints, luster paper is a popular choice for quality photographic prints. Each poster is printed with multicolor, water-based inkjet printing technique that gives you the best possible outcome.
